Role Overview:

The Senior Executive – Corporate Accounting will play a key role in managing and executing end-to-end accounting operations across both Indian and US entities. The position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, ERP proficiency, and hands-on experience with financial reporting, accounts payable, and monthly closure activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

  • Process AP invoices accurately in ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft).
  • Ensure all supporting documentation and approvals are obtained before invoice entry.
  • Handle payment runs and electronic fund transfers for US vouchers.
  • Manage TDS payments and returns.
  • Assist in preparation of input for GST returns.
  • Maintain systematic filing of bills, invoices, and documentation.
  • Liaise with corporate accounting teams in the US.
  • Support management and ad hoc financial reporting requirements.

Time & Expense Processing

  • Review and verify employee expense reports in compliance with T&E policies.
  • Validate receipts and request clarifications for inadequate submissions.
  • Follow up on pending or hold reports and process inter-company pay cycles.
  • Gain full understanding of company expense policies and ensure compliance.

Monthly Close & General Reporting

  • Handle general accounting, journal entries, prepaid accounting, and fixed assets accounting.
  • Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations, and support monthly closing activities.
  • Manage deferred revenue apportionment and capital project allocations.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain strong relationships with banks.
  • Ensure timely completion of all financial reporting tasks within deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA (Finance) or CA Inter.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Team-oriented, with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software (PeopleSoft preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet productivity and quality targets.
  • Exposure to cross-border financial operations (India & US entities).
