Position : Lead Engineer – Observability – Platform Engineering

Experience : 8+Years

Start Date : Immediate

Mode of Work : Full Time with Client

Location : Hyderabad, WFO

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize 8+ years of expertise in APM, Monitoring, and Open Telemetry to design and implement robust observability solutions.
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in javascript/typescript/nodejs/python for developing scalable monitoring solutions.
• Apply DevOps knowledge in AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and CICD pipelines to automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Leverage AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, Neptune, SQS, SNS, and API Gateways for comprehensive monitoring and observability.
• Utilize Kinesis and OpenTelemetry for advanced data streaming and tracing capabilities.
• Implement both auto and manual instrumentation for traces and metrics, ensuring accurate and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with APM tools like New Relic, Honeycomb, Prometheus, and Grafana to analyze and optimize system performance and reliability.

Desired Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in APM, Monitoring, and Open Telemetry technologies.
• Proficiency in javascript/typescript/nodejs/python for developing monitoring solutions.
• Strong DevOps skills with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and CICD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services including CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
• Experience with APM tools like New Relic, Honeycomb, Prometheus, and Grafana for performance analysis and optimization.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
