Role Overview

IOTE Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Database Developer to join our growing technology team. This role demands strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for designing scalable and efficient data systems that drive our client digital solutions based out of USA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet business requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into effective database designs.
• Optimize database schemas, tables, and indexes for improved performance and scalability.
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation and analysis.
• Perform data modeling and database design for efficient data storage and access.
• Work closely with software developers to integrate databases with applications seamlessly.
• Implement robust database security practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, data inconsistencies, and system errors effectively.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and database maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for database architecture, development practices, and procedures.
• Promote a positive and respectful team environment through integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
• Expertise in database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Strong command of SQL and experience with query tuning and optimization.
• Solid understanding of database design and data modeling principles.
• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
